Fritz has had a check up since Don’s passing. He has been given a clean bill of health and is ready for his new family.
Meet Fritz, an affectionate senior lap cat looking for a loving home. The first decade+ of Fritz’s life is unknown. What we do know is Fall of 2021 he showed up roaming the neighborhood of a small town looking for food and shelter. Lucky for him, in that neighborhood there lived a compassionate cat lover named Don Reynolds. Don did for Fritz what he did for every cat who crossed his path, took him under his wing, cared for him, loved him. Except this time, instead of rehoming, he kept Fritz, at first as an outdoor cat, as Don already had 8 cats indoors. However, Fritz turned on his charm and weaseled his way inside. Don with his soft heart, allowed him. A beautiful relationship followed with Fritz’s main location being Don’s lap. Fast forward a couple years, Don is diagnosed with cancer. In less than a year he passed. He did his best to get his affairs in order but the cancer progressed quickly. A home was found for the other cats but it turned out, Fritz wasn’t a fan of other cats. Don had to continually supervise or separate him. Since Don’s passing we have discovered Fritz does well with dogs and he did well with some older (7+ years) neighborhood kids.
