“BONDED BROTHERS” GARFIELD AND MILO NEED A “FOREVER HOME”
Garfield and Milo are “bonded brothers” who are dependent on each other for a feeling of security and contentment. Their former owner became homeless and had to give them up. They are about 8-and-a-half, and are neutered and vaccinated. They have also tested “negative” for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Michelle, the Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary volunteer who has been fostering them for several months, has four cats already and would like to see Garfield and Milo adopted into a great “forever home.” They are healthy, love kids, and get along with other cats.
Garfield is very friendly and outgoing. He loves to play, and enjoys carrying toys away to play with them by himself. He adores toy stuffed mice on a string! Milo is reserved and initially shy, and may hide at first, but he eventually warms up and becomes a cuddler. He watches Garfield play unless he sees a moving string wand – and then he becomes actively engaged. Both have excellent house and litter box manners! They have all their claws, but use cat scratchers and posts rather than clawing furniture. Neither of them has ever bitten or scratched anyone, even when they are stressed due to getting shots, being transported, etc. They LOVE to eat! They mostly eat dry food (about three times a day!), and enjoy moist food as a treat. Although the adopter would need to supply cat carriers to transport them, foster mom Michelle can supply a large kitty litter box and a cat tower, (She would also like to help with the transfer.)
